Ingredients You’ll Need for the Cheesy Artichoke Parm Sandwich Recipe

To make delicious artichoke parmesan sandwiches, you’ll need the following ingredients:

Artichoke hearts (marinated)

Butter (softened)

Garlic Cloves (minced)

Chives (chopped)

Basil (chopped)

Whole-leaf spinach (frozen or fresh)

Pizza Sauce

Parmesan and mozzarella cheese (low-moisture)

Salt

Black Pepper

Seeded Italian Roll or Seeded Hoagie Rolls

Cooking Method

Prepare the veggie filling

Preheat your oven to 400 F.

Place a wire rack on your baking sheet and spread the artichoke hearts and spinach over the wire rack evenly.

Sprinkle salt and pepper over them and bake in the preheated oven for almost 20 minutes, or until the artichoke hearts and spinach are tender or somehow hydrated.

Prepare the rolls

Add the butter, basil, chives, and garlic to a medium-sized bowl and mix and mash them with a fork.

Cut the rolls in two halves and spread the prepared butter over the top rolls. 

Place them on a large baking sheet and par-bake them for almost 10 minutes or until they turn light brown.

Assemble the sandwiches

Once the top rolls are ready, increase the microwave oven temperature to 450 F. 

Spread the artichoke hearts and spinach over the bottom rolls.

Spread the pizza sauce over the artichoke hearts and spinach. 

At the end, top the sandwiches with the sliced mozzarella and grated parmesan.

Bake the sandwiches until the cheese melts

Bake the prepared sandwiches for almost 5-8 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

Take out the rolls from the oven.

Cap the sandwiches with the roll tops and serve them with your favorite sauce. Happy Eating!
